Anna Kendrick admitted to forgetting one of her most iconic movie roles.
The actress appeared on the Wednesday, October 25 episode of Call Her Daddy. Anna spoke about her upcoming film, Woman of the House, surviving an abusive relationship, being casted in the Pitch Perfect films, its iconic cup song and more. Host Alex Cooper couldn’t help but remind Anna about the time she portrayed Jessica Stanley in the Twilight saga. Anna appeared in three out of four films: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn: Part One.
Anna explained what she meant when she posted that she had forgotten that she was a part of the cast.

She said: “A while ago, I had done a silly funny tweet where I just said, ‘Holy s–t. I just remembered I was in Twilight.’ And people were like, ‘you didn’t forget that you were in Twilight.'” Anna continued: “The answer is truly yes and no. Obviously I didn’t forget the experience of making the movies… But those movies, especially at the time, took on such a life of their own.”
Anna revealed that if you were playing a supernatural character, then you could not leave your hotel room and she was blessed to have played a role that was not part of the “madness” like certain things from the book that were not in the film or weren’t portrayed correctly.
Anna said: “So it almost feels like I didn’t really have the gantlet that some of the other, I mean most of the other people did. I just had to show up and say dumb funny s–t… It was awesome.”
Like the actress, many forgot she was in the film as well, according to comments on a clip posted from the podcasts TikTok. One fan wrote: “I know she was in Twilight but also likewas she?” Another user penned: “everytime I watch twilight and she pops up it’s like a jump-scare because I also forget.” A third person said: “No but like I always forget she was in twilight and I gaslight myself into thinking her first film was pitch perfect.” A fourth added: “No bc everytime I rewatch Twlight, I forget shes in it until I see her and Im like OH I forgot she was in these.repeat in 2 years when I watch again.”
