NCIS star Michael Weatherly has fans begging him for the inside scoop on the crime dramas spinoff NCIS: Tony & Ziva after his latest post on social media.
The fan-favorite small screen notable took to his Instagram page to share a photo of the meal he was enjoying in a restaurant. Michael excluded himself from the picture, instead capturing the bowl of what appeared to be goulash in front of him. Along with the rest of the items on his table at the eatery, which included a small bowl of bread, one empty wine glass, and another glass cup, which was placed behind his bowl of food.
Also on the table was a menu from the restaurant Aranybasta, which is located in Budapest, Hungary, the same place NCIS: Tony & Ziva is being filmed.

Hiking, working. Wandering, drinking. Sleeping, staring, listening, thinking, #eating goulash, Michael captioned his post, most likely grabbing a bite to eat in between filming the new series.
Being that Michael was eating at a Budapest restaurant, some speculated in the caption of his post if what he shared was actually a behind-the-scenes snap. Especially since he had a pair of sunglasses on the table, which his NCIS character Tony DiNozzo is known for wearing.
Good Lunch Michael, how’s the filming going? Where’s Cote?, one fan questioned, asking about his equally as beloved co-star Cote de Pablo, who portrays NCIS character Ziva David. A second added: Enjoy! I hope youre having fun filming #NCISTonyAndZiva. Cant wait to see the result!
Others pleaded for him to give some insight into what NCIS: Tony & Ziva will entail.

CBS introduced NCIS Season 22 with the prequel series NCIS Origins, which delves into the story of Leroy Gibbs, portrayed by actor Austin Stowell, when he was a budding agent. Some NCIS fans are yearning for NCIS: Tony & Ziva to come with a juicy backstory, which is set to be addressed.
While the main action of the spin-off unfolds in the modern day, the narrative won’t begin there.
Instead, the journey will kick off from a pivotal moment, starting with when Ziva faked her death and Tony’s departure with their daughter Tali to Paris, which happened more than a decade ago.
