Travis Kelce’s first Super Bowl jersey and prized memorabilia from Patrick Mahomes’ man cave were among the possessions stolen when the Kansas City Chiefs stars’ homes were ransacked by thieves.
Mahomes and Kelce’s mansions were burglarized on Oct. 6 and Oct. 7, respectively, while the teammates were focusing on a Monday Night Football clash with the New Orleans Saints at Arrowhead Stadium.
According to police documents, Mahomes’ stunning self-designed abode in Belton, Missouri was broken into shortly after midnight on Oct. 6 before Kelce’s home in the Leawood suburb of Kansas City was targeted the following day at around 7 p.m.
Mahomes had a slew of items taken including jerseys and trophies, while jewelry and designer bags belonging to his wife, Brittany, were also taken.
Kelce had more than $100,000 in jewelry swiped from his home as well as mementos from his football career. His girlfriend, pop star Taylor Swift, however, lost none of her possessions, with only a few essentials kept at Kelce’s home.
Three-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Mahomes discussed the ordeal on Wednesday. He told reporters: “Obviously, it’s frustrating. It’s disappointing, but I can’t get into too many details because the investigation is still ongoing. Obviously, something that you don’t want to have happen to really anybody, but obviously yourself.”

A source close to the players told The U.S. Sun: “Both Kelce and Mahomes got really mad it happened, and that intruders got into their properties that they consider their ‘safe-haven’ and ‘safe place’ as they are always under the spotlights and always traveling.
“The Mahomes got really angry as Brittany felt really bad that people got into their privacy, into their private spaces, and felt really bad about it for a bit. That really bothered them a lot, especially her, as she always wants her safe space and her family and kids to be in the safest places 24/7, and home is their sanctuary in the middle of the super active life they have.”
