Ghost Adventures Star Aaron Goodwin’s Wife Arrested in Alleged Murder Plot
Victoria Goodwin, the wife of Ghost Adventures star Aaron Goodwin, has been arrested for allegedly conspiring to have him murdered, according to police reports.
Victoria, 32, was taken into custody on March 6 and charged with soliciting to commit murder and conspiring to commit murder, per Clark County, Nevada inmate records obtained by PEOPLE. She is currently being held on a $100,000 bail and was scheduled to make an initial court appearance on March 11.
Allegations and Investigation
According to police in Florida, investigators uncovered messages between Victoria and an inmate in a Florida prison discussing a plan to kill Aaron. TMZ, which first reported the news, revealed that one of Victoria’s messages allegedly read, “Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce.” However, she has denied any intent to harm her husband, according to police statements.
Authorities claim that Victoria had provided specific details about Aaron’s whereabouts, including his filming schedule, and had allegedly set aside over $11,500 in October 2024 to pay the inmate. Reports indicate that she and the inmate also discussed a $2,500 upfront payment. In one of the exchanged messages, she allegedly wrote, “He’s asleep right now in the hotel room … I need to know what’s going on. Can I get an update? Was it done?”
Police were alerted to the scheme after corrections officers seized a smuggled phone that the Florida inmate had been using.
Victoria’s Defense
Victoria has denied plotting to kill her husband and claims she does not remember sending messages to the Florida inmate. She told police she believed the money discussed was for purchasing cell phones, though she admitted that she and Aaron had been facing marital struggles.
Aaron Goodwin’s Reaction
Aaron was reportedly shocked by the allegations, telling TMZ that he had believed their marriage was in a good place. The couple tied the knot in August 2022, celebrating at Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion. Aaron shared several photos from their wedding day on Instagram, expressing his joy: “It finally happened 💍 we got married. After postponing many times due to Covid we got our day. I couldn’t be happier ❤️.”
Most recently, he posted a Valentine’s Day tribute to Victoria, featuring a photo of her playing mini-golf with the caption, “My valentine always beats me at mini golf ❤️.”
