Christina Ricci Celebrates Hollywood Walk of Fame Star with Rare Appearance Alongside Her Two Kids
Christina Ricci had her family by her side as she received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, March 6. The Yellowjackets actress, 45, was joined by her husband Mark Hampton and their two children—daughter Cleopatra, 3, and son Freddie, 10—for the special occasion.
In a heartwarming moment, Ricci posed with her family next to her star, wearing a sleek black long-sleeve dress with her arm around Freddie, who smiled in a blue sweater and gray jeans. Hampton stood behind their daughter Cleo, who sported white pants, a black sweater, and checkered Vans.
Ricci’s Emotional Speech Honoring Her Family
As she accepted her star, Ricci expressed gratitude for her loved ones, saying:
“I want to thank my family. Mark, you’re the most supportive and loving husband. Freddie, you made me feel so much love the day you were born and reconnected me to art and passion and ambition. And Cleo, my gorgeous little baby girl, I love you so much, and I’m inspired by all your strength and courage and spirit. She’s really spirited.”
A Hilarious Parenting Moment: ‘Christina, I Need Ice and Water!’
Ricci, who shares Freddie with ex James Heerdegen and Cleo with Hampton, has previously opened up about the humorous differences between her children.
On The Drew Barrymore Show, Ricci shared that while Freddie is a homebody, Cleo is fiercely independent—so much so that she calls her mom by her first name!
“She calls me Christina. ‘Christina, I need ice and water!’” Ricci laughed, recalling how her daughter once woke up in the middle of the night and shouted, ‘Mama. Daddy. … Christina!’
Barrymore found the story hilarious, responding, “What an interesting soul!”
A Fun-Loving Mom on Duty
Beyond Hollywood, Ricci embraces her role as a hands-on mom. In April 2024, she chaperoned Freddie’s fourth-grade field trip, sharing a selfie from the back of a school bus on Instagram.
“I’m permanently deaf in one ear from the bus ride. ♥️” she joked, capturing the chaos of excited students.
With her Hollywood legacy cemented and her family cheering her on, Ricci’s Walk of Fame milestone was as heartwarming as it was unforgettable.
