Collin Gosselin Announces New Business Venture Nearly Two Years After Marine Corps Discharge
Collin Gosselin has stepped into the world of entrepreneurship.
The 20-year-old announced on Instagram on March 4 that he has officially launched Gosselin Pressure Washing LLC, a power-washing business. This news comes nearly two years after he was discharged from the U.S. Marines in August 2023. Alongside his announcement, he shared the company’s logo and contact details.
“Today we officially filed as an LLC!” Collin wrote. “Gosselin Pressure Washing LLC is ready to tackle that job you’ve been needing to get done! With the spring season approaching fast, our goal is to make your home shine, with our pressure washing/soft-wash services. We prioritize beautifying your home so that all you have to do is admire the shine after we are done!”
He concluded his post with a clever tagline: “Let us take the pressure off your shoulders!”
From Military Dreams to Business Ownership
Collin had previously hinted at this venture in November 2024, when he shared that he would be starting a pressure-washing business while attending college. At the time, he announced plans to officially open in spring 2025.
Before launching his business, Collin was known for his time on Jon & Kate Plus 8, the reality show that documented his childhood with his seven siblings. After enlisting in the Marines, his military journey was cut short when he was discharged in 2023. He later claimed that allegations from his estranged mother, Kate Gosselin, had impacted his ability to continue serving.
In a September 2024 interview with The Sun, Collin expressed frustration over the situation:
“Due to these allegations that she posted on social media, my dream of becoming a U.S. Marine was crushed and taken away from me. Now I have to fight and do everything I can to fulfill that dream still,” he said.
The outlet reported that the Marines required Collin to undergo a psychiatric evaluation if he wished to re-enlist. A doctor later determined in October 2023 that he did not meet the criteria for the alleged diagnoses that had been cited in the past.
Family History and Custody Battle
Collin’s relationship with his mother has been strained for years. Following his parents’ 2009 divorce, Kate was granted custody of all eight children. However, in 2016, she sent Collin—then 12 years old—to the Fairmount Behavioral Health System institution in Philadelphia. He remained there until 2018 when his father, Jon Gosselin, gained custody of him and his sister, Hannah.
Despite the challenges he has faced, Collin is now looking toward the future with his new business. His company, Gosselin Pressure Washing LLC, is officially open and taking customers, marking a new chapter in his life.
