Dolphins are famous for being intelligent, lovely, friendly, and kind animals. Many times they have been the savior of people in the open sea. And the story of the recent rescue of poor Turbo dog from drowning once again proves the lovable character of this animal.
On a Sunday evening on Marco Island, Florida, USA, the dog Turbo, when the gate was open, escaped from the house. Miss Cindy Burnett, the dog’s owner, had to rush to find life everywhere until 2am but still to no avail. “I’ve driven through this stretch of road at least five or six times, shouting Turbo’s name as I walk and still can’t find it,” Burnett said. No one expected that the poor dog while wandering around, slipped and fell into a canal. This is the waterway through which islanders can return home by boat from the Gulf of Mexico. Because the embankment of the canal was too high, Turbo could not climb it.
Fifteen hours later, Burnett was informed that her Turbo had been found with friends who had saved it. Fortunately for Turbo, a group of dolphins discovered the dog struggling in the water in vain, so they swam around him. They stir the water constantly to signal neighbors to come help.
And the dolphins succeeded, the D’ Alessandro couple were fishing nearby when they heard the splash of water. ‘We saw two dolphins stirring the water to make loud sounds,’ Ms Audrey said. Naturally curious, Miss Audrey approached to see what was happening when she saw an exhausted Doberman in the water. Seeing this, she immediately called 911 emergency services for help. Not long after, the rescue team arrived to bring Turbo to shore.
As for Miss Burnett, seeing her pet dog that had been missing all night and almost drowning made her overjoyed. But she was still very worried when she saw that Turbo had a few scratches, shaking in a state of panic and dehydration. Turbo must have been immersed in sea water for ten hours straight, then exhausted when he had to struggle under the water to ask for help. After Turbo was pulled up, the dolphins also silently disappeared into the water. Thanks to the intelligent dolphins and her wife Audrey, Turbo was reunited with his family and quickly recovered from the warmth and medical care. The dog probably won’t dare to return to the canal for a while unless he is reunited with the dolphin benefactors who saved his life. Once again, no one can deny the kindness of adorable dolphins out in the sea. And based on their special behaviors, researchers have shown that dolphins are the most intelligent animals on the planet. They have the ability to perceive language and perception like humans. Not only that, people also love dolphins because of their winding dances and clear singing. Some people joke that dolphins are friendly ambassadors of the sea, they symbolize love, kindness and beauty in harmony with nature.
