Dogs are amazing creatures because they are loyal, loving, and smart. They can amaze and touch the hearts of their owners, as shown by the story of Ping An, a Golden Retriever who walked 62 miles over 2 weeks to find her owners.
Ping An lived in Qidong, Jiangsu, China, with her family. Because they were remodeling their house, they had to send her to a friend’s house, which was two hours away. Even though she tried to get used to her new home, after 4 months, Ping An started to miss her old life.
Ping An took matters into her own paws and walked more than 62 miles in 2 weeks to get back home. Her family thought she ran away, but it turned out that she went trekking on her own and showed a lot of determination and energy to finish the trip.
The story of Ping An shows what an amazing bond dogs have with their owners and what amazing things they can do.
The trip was definitely hard, and Ping An had to be very determined and have a lot of faith in order to find her parents.
Ping An kept walking down the street even though she was hungry, had a limp, and her paws were bleeding. When she got to an office building, a group of kind-hearted workers rescued her, fed her, and took care of her wounds. They put her story and pictures on the popular Chinese messaging app WeChat, which helped the dog’s owners find her.
Her owners felt bad that they had sent her away and said they would never let her go again. They took her to the vet so she could get the right care, and now she is healthy and happy.
“You’ve been through a lot, Ping An. You’ll stay with us at home from now on. They wrote to their beloved pet, “We’ll never send you away again.”
